1.  The Mission of the Lexington County Professional Fire Fighters Association is to provide fire prevention, fire protection and emergency medical services to any persons in and around Lexington County when the call for duty arises.  The professional fire fighters and EMS providers as members of this union will aid all public safety agencies when called to do so.

2.  The association, composed of professional union fire fighters, emergency medical technicians and paramedics will promote a cohesive working environment with all municipal, county, state and federal agencies.

3.  The association, composed of professional union fire fighters, emergency medical technicians and paramedics will also work to improve relationships and communication between all public safety agencies within Lexington County.

4.  The Lexington County Professional Fire Fighters Association formed its local under the International Association of Firefighters to create a powerful force for change, innovation and opportunity for all full time professional fire fighters, emergency medical technicians and paramedics employed by Lexington County, while being fair and equitable for employees, administration and the taxpayers of Lexington County.

5.  The Association's position will be to maintain and improve Fire/EMS services provided to the taxpayers and citizens of Lexington County while being fiscally responsible.
